A fresh start

I'm a bridesmaid in October. Both the bride and the groom have lost a significant amount of weight and I do NOT want to be the "chubby bridesmaid". So, with that in mind, last night was my last evening of pigging out. Today I start taking care of myself with motivation of being one of the 3 hot 'maids at that wedding! My plan? Yoga 2x a week for 20-30 minutes to start, followed by a hike or walk on the weekends for 20-30 minutes. My stamina is pretty week so I have to start slow, but it's better than nothing. And the best part of this plan? FREE! :)

Tonight Matt won't be home when I get home, so I'll be able to enjoy my Rodney Yee DVD in peace and quiet. Same with Wednesday evening. Then Saturday morning I'm up early early for a hike with Mary and Cindy. Finally I can see this great trail that Mary's been telling me about!

Best of luck on your work out plan! I, too, am needing to kick my work out plan back into the "on" position, now that I have a break from school until late August. Wish I could join you guys for hiking! Hopefully when I'm out there this summer it won't be 110 degrees again!!

So, what did you think of the trail? Wasn't it beautiful out there?!

Hey!

This is very like your plan, but something that helps me to be successful is the every other day plan. I commit to getting some type of exercise every other day. Of course every day is better, and I try for that, but I cut myself some slack and say every other day. I find that on my off day, I enjoy the feeling of resting and then the next day, I'm motivated to do it, because I can't risk falling off the wagon.
