Me: Mom, I love you.

Mom: I love you too honey.

(5 minutes later)

Me: Mom, I love you.

Mom: I know.

(a few minutes later)

Me: I love you, Mom.

Mom: I know sweetheart, you've told me already.

(a few minutes later)

Me: I love you, Mom.

Mom: I know.

Me: Do you love me too?

Mom: (thinks for a minute and wrinkles her nose.) Nah.

That's awesome. Having a sense of humor softens the experience. Good for you, and your mom.

i love that you are documenting all of this. it mad eme give both my parents a hug today...which i often forget to do.

my mother is in study right now because my aunt had breast cancer. it is crazy all the questions they've asked her. stuff like, "does a street light shine through your bedroom window at night? do you sleep with a digital alarm clock?"

i got my shoes at burlington coat factory...shhh...it is a secret...they were $15!
