Stalling

I haven't started a serious job or house hunt yet. The rehearsals for Camelot are keeping me super busy and Matt is in the midst of filming G2DR (Gamers 2: Dorkness Rising). With that said, we have little time to devote to pratical matters at hand, much less searching for a new place to live. :) Everyone has been very supportive about our move and I am looking forward to spending some quality time with my dear friend who moved down there last fall. She and I can explore together! :)

As for Matt, he said that he is really starting to believe that he could be a writer for the rest of his life. He's positive and excited...all good things!

UCLA

He didn't get accepted, but he did get into their 1 year certificate program. It's not an MFA, so he's declined and will officially be attending AFI. :) Fall term starts August 29, so we really are moving in 3 months, and there is so much to do! I try not to get overwhelmed, but sometimes it's hard not to freak out a little.

Hi everyone! Thanks for checking out the blog. Check back here frequently for updates and what's going on. So far, we've received word from AFI (American Film Institute) and Matt has been accepted so that's most likely where he will be going. It's his first choice and he is really looking forward to it. We received the acceptance letter yesterday, although they phoned Matt in advance to tell him the good news. Still no word from UCLA. We are still awaiting the big acceptance packet with all the information. Once that arrives, things will kick into high gear and Camille will start looking for a new job.
